EARLY ACCEPTANCE for SUMMER 2027

Summer 2027 residency dates: July 5-19

The application allows the artist to choose from two residency fee tiers. The residency fee includes accommodations, studio space and two meals each day for the two week duration of the residency. The artist is responsible for their own travel to the residency, any additional groceries, art supplies or excursions outside of the village.

Artists who are able to pay the full residency fee may select to pay $4400 in their application. Artists who require a partial fellowship to attend may select to be considered for a partial fellowship, for a residency fee of $3600.

There will be two work-study positions available. Artists can apply for these positions within their residency application. Each artist selected for the work-study position will receive an $800 stipend, paid at the end of the residency, in return for performing a job.

Prices are listed in USD

Applying as a group or collaborative pair? Each artist is required to submit their own application. Within your proposal, please clearly note the name(s) of the collaborator(s) with whom you intend to work.

Applying as a Mudhouse Alum? Returning alumni are asked to submit a project proposal, rather than an application. Alumni artists are accepted on a first response basis. Please include your proposed project, the fee tier you are able to pay, and whether or not you are interested in being considered for one of the work-study positions.
